Our next described production, in June will be “Handbagged”.

This high-spirited and intelligent drama playfully speculates what might have gone on behind closed doors between  two radically different women, Her Majesty the Queen and Mrs Thatcher.

Handbagged offers a fascinating fictional portrait via not one but two versions of each woman, one destined to rule, the other to lead. This play is a funny, insightful and a brilliantly sharp satire.

In July we decribe “Fatal Encounter”, from  the master of suspense  Francis Durbridge.

The events of Fatal Encounter unfold in Howard and Joanna’s  living-room and take a dark turn when Howard returns home to find an old friend has been murdered in a struggle with Joanna.  In an attempt to cover for his wife, Howard pleads guilty to the shooting and is soon at the centre of a complex investigation when a second attempted murder takes place… but who is truly to blame?
